Causes of poor lubrication of the front idler shaft
1. The coaxiality of the front idler bimetal sleeve sliding bearing is ∮0.025. Bounces and impacts occur during crawling. Strong impact forces are supported and transmitted through the sliding bearings. Therefore, the clearance between the sliding bearings and the shaft is required to be uniform, and the coaxiality of the bearings is required to be high. If its geometric dimensions are too poor, the gap between the front idler shaft and the sleeve is too small or no gap, the thickness of the lubricant film is not enough or there is no lubricant film.
2. The original structure is defective. It can be seen from FIG. 1 that the lubricating oil is injected from the screw hole at the front idler shaft end, and then gradually fills the entire cavity. In actual operation, if there is no special tool for oil injection, it is difficult for the lubricating oil to pass through the cavity in the front idler only under the effect of its own gravity, and the gas in the cavity is not discharged smoothly, so it is difficult to fill the lubricating oil; and the original design The oil-filling space in the cavity is too small, causing a serious shortage of lubricating oil. In addition, the lubricating oil in the gap between the front idler shaft and the sleeve is unable to heat away the friction generated by the bearing because there is no oil passage, which causes the bearing's operating temperature to rise, the viscosity of the lubricating oil to decrease, and the thickness of the lubricating oil film to be reduced.
3. The surface roughness Ra1.6 of the front idler axle is out of tolerance. If the roughness of the front idler shaft is extremely poor, there are many metal peaks on the shaft surface, and these metal peaks destroy the integrity and continuity of the lubricant film between the shaft and the sliding bearing. During work, a large amount of metal grinding debris will be generated in the lubricating oil, which will increase the surface roughness of the shaft and the bearing, the lubrication condition will worsen, and the front idler shaft and the sliding bearing will be worn in severe cases.
