In addition, some construction machinery engine users use the method of blocking part of the outlet pipe and reducing the water flow to increase the outlet temperature, which is not good. This is because the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet water will be increased. Because the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet water is too large, the heated parts are cooled very close to the water inlet side, and the part near the water outlet side is cooled poorly, which may cause the cylinder. Inspection method for cracks in cylinder head and cylinder block
Water pressure is usually used. Install the cylinder head and cylinder gasket on the cylinder block during inspection, and connect the water pipe to the hydraulic press to seal other waterway openings. It is required to keep it at a pressure of about 390kPa for 5 minutes, and there should be no water seepage. Alternatively, a dye penetrant can be used for inspection. The method is to wash the cylinder head and cylinder block, and then spray the penetrant (commonly available in chemical stores) on the inspected part. If the penetrant penetrates into the interior, it indicates that there is a crack in this part.
If for various reasons, penetrant cannot be purchased. For small cracks that cannot be detected by the naked eye, you can also use the following method: apply 75% oil and 25010 kerosene mixture to the suspected cracks, wipe the mixture with cotton yarn, and immediately apply The layer contains a solution of zinc oxide in methanol. At this time, if a crack exists, the solution at the crack will change color.
When inspecting the cylinder block cracks, special attention should be paid to the water jacket interlayer, the cylinder wall, the main oil duct, and the intake and exhaust valves, because these parts are most prone to cracks.
